It’s all about the see-through mesh and crotch-less panties over here, people. I’m transparent about my terms and conditions so you and I both can be on the same page regarding the process of working together. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me so that I can provide clarity and reassurance.

Prior to commencement of services, the Client and I will agree, in writing, to the terms of the project:

  • The medium in which the service will be carried out.

  • How the material will be annotated or stored.

  • The length of time required to complete the project.

  • A fee for the project, in writing, following my evaluation of the material to be edited.

  • Any expenses (if applicable) that the Client will bear in addition to the costs of the services.

  • The date by which the material will be delivered by the Client to me.

  • The date by which the completed project will be returned, as determined by the Client’s needs.

Please note that if, on receipt of a project to be worked on (or at an early stage), it becomes apparent that significantly more work is required than had been anticipated from the sample supplied or the word count has changed, I may renegotiate the fee and/or the deadline, or decline to carry out the work.

  • The Client will pay me a per word fee according to prior agreement.

  • The fee is non-negotiable unless the Client extends the word count of the project. In this case, a revised job-completion date will be negotiated.

  • Projects require a $25 deposit upfront to reserve a spot on my schedule. Until deposit has been paid, editing time is not secure. For the initial invoice, 50% of the total cost (minus the deposit) is due before service is rendered. Final payment is due before the completed project is delivered.

  • All initial invoices are due within five (5) business days of project start date. Final invoices are due upon receipt.

  • Cancellation of services must be submitted in writing via email. I will respond within 48 hours.

  • Both the Client and I have the right to terminate a contract for services at any time if there is a serious breach of its terms.

  • In the unlikely event that the Client is touched by a Life Incident that causes cancellation (e.g. family crisis, illness etc.), the Client should contact me to discuss the terms of the cancellation policy. I aim to be fair and helpful at all times.

  • If I am touched by similar Life Incident that causes cancellation, I will contact the Client in writing at the earliest opportunity and do my best to renegotiate the time frame of the project.

  • If a scheduled service is cancelled during the project, the deposit and 50% payment fee is forfeit.

  • If a scheduled service is cancelled or postponed less than thirty (30) days prior to start date, the deposit fee is forfeit.

  • If a scheduled service is cancelled or postponed thirty (30) days or more in advance of start date, the deposit fee will be refunded to the Client.

  • If the Client cancels or postpones and Contractor is able to fill the resulting schedule gap with work from another Client, Client will not be penalized.

  • The nature and content of the work will be kept confidential and not made known to anyone other than the Client and its contractors without prior written permission.

  • I will not, under any circumstances, upload the Client’s files to external websites or distribute them to third parties unless specifically authorized to do so, in writing, by the Client. I do, however, use Google Drive as a cloud storage system. See my Privacy Policy for how your data is protected.

  • The Client and I may keep on record such information (e.g. contact details) as is necessary. Either may view the other's records to ensure that they are relevant, correct and up to date.

  • All content delivered to me by the Client is owned by the Client.

  • Following payment of my invoice, any content created by me as part of the proofreading process will become the copyright of the Client unless otherwise agreed.

There is no guarantee that Client will see positive results to its business using the techniques and materials provided by Contractor. Contractor assumes no management responsibility for Client's decisions or for policies or practices that Client implements.

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of ARIZONA without regard to its conflict of laws doctrine, and applicable federal laws of the United States of America.

Please read my Privacy Policy, which explains the data I collect, how I use it and store it.
