Woot! You’ve finished writing that novel and you’re ready to strut on down to Publication Station.

Or are you?

Maybe you’re already there and can’t quite reach climax.

Or maybe you just want to be sure no obstacles cockblock your progress.

I can help with that!

I’m CeCe Downs and

As a writer myself, I know that editing can be challenging and it’s so not fun. I can read my material over and over and still find something to change every time. You know what I’m talking about, right? After the 50th read-through (at least, that’s what it seems like to me), the word jungle starts to get so dense you need a machete.

Additionally, I understand the frustration of wanting unbiased feedback on your work and knowing that you won’t get that from friends and family. Especially if they don’t read the genre you write. No matter how much they love and support your creative soul, they won’t be able to provide impartial, constructive advice or suggestions on how to address punctuation and plot inconsistencies.

At some point, you’re going to have to take a step back and have another set of eyeballs well, eye-bang your material. No author wants to lose a reader or receive a DNF rating from a book reviewer due to sub-quality work. That would be as painful as getting sucker punched in the hoo-hah.

Or so I’ve heard.

If you decide to work with me, know that you will be working with someone who’s right next to you in the Writing Trenches (ok, maybe not the trenches. More like a wading pool). Someone who’s been an avid reader of adult romance for over thirty years. And someone who loves the romance genre as much as you do.

Here at An Eye for Romance, I believe in happily ever after. Hell, I’m even partial to the happy for now scenario. You get the readers to fall in love with your hottie alpha hero and sassy take-no-shit-heroine. You put’em through emotional drama, throw in some sexy times that will make your readers’ panties wet, and then get’em to their HEA (or HFN).

Leave the meet-cute (or the final fling) to me.
